I am a D.C. transplant by way of suburban Detroit and consider myself a recovering tech professional through the means of yoga and studying mindfulness.
Prior to completing my RYT 200 yoga teacher training with Yoga Shala, I completed a program in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). MBSR uses a combination of mindfulness, meditation, body awareness, yoga, and exploration of patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling, and action.
I approach each class with a philosophy that bringing mindfulness to any activity or movement transforms it into a living meditation. I facilitate yoga because it teaches self inquiry for living life with moment to moment awareness.
