Teacher Training

Anyone can practice yoga as well as study to one day teach yoga. There are innumerable yoga teacher training offerings that vary from in person, virtual, and hybrid and each student will gravitate towards a training that suits them, wherever they are in life as well as their own practice. At Yoga Shala, our approach to teacher training is traditional in nature as we foster the teacher and student relationship until it progresses to a point where the student is curious, ready even, to pursue teacher training. The objective may vary, from wanting to draw upon personal experiences and to teach, to inviting a greater depth of understanding and integration of yoga into every day living. With intention at the heart of our teacher training offerings, the beginning of the journey begins with a conversation.

Yoga Shala is recognized by Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga School, offering both a 200 and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training that offers a transformative journey to cultivate or deepen your practice as well as support your personal growth. These life skills are then further honed to allow you to teach others and support professional aspirations through continued mentorship.
