Grief Support
Among the compassionate team at Yoga Shala are teachers specifically trained and experienced in providing grief support. While the response to loss or a terminal diagnosis is unique and deeply personal, most everyone experiencing grief will face many of the same challenges.
- Overwhelming emotions impairing the ability to make important decisions
- Physical symptoms to include loss of appetite, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and bodily pain
- Suffering from mental health conditions, to include depression, anxiety, or in the case of unresolved grief, anger
- Lack of support, even from well-meaning family and friends, isolation is common while experiencing grief
We support the process of grief by inviting you into our community, to move and breath, to sit and quiet your mind, to share at your comfort level, as well as one on one care with a designated teacher should you need intensive support.
