I started practicing yoga many years ago as part of my fitness routine. My biggest personal takeaway is that yoga is so much more than stretching. It is a lifestyle and philosophy that brings mind and body together. It can build strength, flexibility, and reduce stress.
My favorite style is relaxed and prop oriented. I enjoy teaching people that even if they have physical limitations, they can do yoga. I look forward to incorporating breathing techniques and meditation into my classes, because if you can breathe, you can do yoga!
